Ohio publishes the year, month, weekday and hour of a crash but not the day of the month, so records carry a month-level period instead of a crash date and no date is inferred. Injury and fatality counts are not published in this layer — only a severity classification. County appears as a three-letter ODOT code and is stored as published. The most recent calendar year is still being compiled and should be treated as preliminary. Coverage through this service starts in 2021.

Counts are of crash records published by the source agency for the stated period. They are not a complete census of all collisions, and a higher record count does not by itself establish that a location is more dangerous than another.
